Updated Review – Appreciative of Tyson Young’s Professional Support at blue springs ford! I want to take a moment to acknowledge and sincerely appreciate Tyson Young from the sales management department at Blue Springs Ford. After my initial frustration with the vehicle I purchased and the lack of support I received when I first reached out, Tyson personally contacted me to address the situation. He listened to my concerns regarding the experience of buying a vehicle that broke down shortly after the purchase and truly took the time to understand how disappointed and frustrated I felt. His professionalism and willingness to resolve the issue made a big difference. He was able to fix the problem, and I felt heard and respected throughout the process. While the situation started off poorly — with the fuel pump failing just weeks after I bought the car for my teenage son — I’m grateful that someone from the dealership finally stepped up and made things right. Thank you, Tyson, for your help and for restoring some of my trust in the process.

This review is for the service department, and specifically for the employees that recently "took care" of me. I had my truck in a few months ago for some problems, and wound up needing several things fixed. They had my truck for almost a month (yes, just a couple days shy of it) before it was done. Most of that time was spent playing phone tag with the representative, who was mostly neglectful. It was hard to even get ahold of him most of the time. The main issue I took my truck in for was NOT repaired correctly, and it was apparent very soon after picking my truck up from them. So, I texted the representative and told him so. He responded back (surprisingly) and asked when I could bring it in. I told him "tomorrow morning", and he never responded. Later on, after putting up with this issue for a while, I scheduled my truck to go in again. I pulled into the service bay, and he was right next to me, on the phone, but not talking to anyone. I stood there, right by him, for several minutes without him even acknowledging my presence. Someone else came over to help me, and I explained the situation. However, I don't think they actually paid much attention to what I said, as the problems were not addressed at all in the way they should've been. One thing I asked to be looked at was supposed to have been fixed the first time around. The representative from that first visit (the same one who blatantly ignored me standing there) told me that they would take care of it back then, but they didn't do it. So, I pointed that out to the other representative. I told him exactly what was wrong. But it didn't matter. They "checked" exactly what I told them to fix, and then charged me the $150 diagnostic fee anyway, even though I TOLD THEM WHAT IT WAS. So, the initial representative I dealt with eventually called me, after having my truck overnight. He said the price of the repair (which of course he said would be done months prior to this) would be a certain amount, PLUS the diagnostic fee (which they USED TO bundle into the total cost if you had them do the work). I asked if they had looked into the previous issue, and if they could figure it out, and he dismissed my concern like I was an idiot. He tried to get me to pay for a bunch of other outrageously overpriced BS, and I declined. They completed the previously neglected work, charged me way too much for it, and I picked my truck up. Then, a bit more specifically, I took my truck home, and decided to check things out. I know my truck's wheels, and I know for an absolute fact that the technician did NOT rotate the passenger side tires like he was supposed to. Hey, mistakes happen, I can overlook it. But then, I decided to change my brakes and see if I could solve this issue myself. Upon examining the brake pads, I immediately saw a serious problem. Something even an amateur mechanic would notice. The pads were worn at an extreme angle on the inner side of the rotor, and that side was worn down to almost nothing, while the other side was basically untouched--obvious caliper malfunctioning. I changed calipers out across the front, and installed new pads myself, cleaned and lubricated everything properly, and PRESTO. The initial problem completely solved, for a tiny fraction of the cost they charged me to improperly diagnose and "fix" it in the first place. To summarize... my service representative should be working at McDonald's screwing up peoples' cheeseburgers, while the technician(s) that worked on my truck probably needs to have their eyesight examined. I have given this dealership a LOT of business over the years. Myself, and a couple members of my family, and a friend as well. Never, EVER again. The service department is an absolute joke. Uncaring, unprofessional, dishonest, neglectful, incompetent. Period.
